As a kid, I typically thought bees were cute and imposed no danger upon most of society. As an adult, I learned besides the fact they might sting you as self-defense, they mostly are harmless and often die upon stinging you. We're talking honey bees, not killer bees, hornets, or anything of that kind. These sweet little honey bees spend their days going from flower to flower, collecting honey to bring back to the mama comb where it's made. If you think about it, they are splendid creatures, so I thought Real-Time Gaming did a great job picking this game theme.
Layout and Design
This grid is laid out against a summer forest, the trees are green, the sky is blue and the bees are busy buzzing away. Peering from beneath the board you see the forest vegetation and natural serenity that comes with it. This five-by-three grid is played within a honeycomb itself, with a bee buzzing in every surrounding icon. Hope you don't have a bee allergy!
How To Play
I found this slot easy to use, with an excellent format and old-school graphics. This game runs easily on my apple devices and showed no signs of errors. For this game, there's important information at both the top and bottom of the screen. At the top in the furthermost left corner, your balance is displayed. Down to the right of that is where your bet is shown, and finally on the right upper side of the screen is a bigger mini window that shows how much you've won. Now, actual navigation happens at the bottom of the screen and has most of the important buttons. There's a help button on the bottom left, right next to the help button is the bet button, use the two arrows on each side to increase or decrease your bet. In the middle of the screen, the autoplay feature is displayed, personally the longer I've played slots, the more I find autoplay useful and almost necessary. Now, on the right bottom we have the lines feature, where you can use the arrows to increase or decrease your bet, and finally on the furthermost side of the manual spin, which I recommend for newer players. This screen offers cute symbols like Honey, the hive, the queen bee, a ladybug (adorable), and of course, a glorious sunflower! (What every bee wants!)
Wild Symbol Bee
The Wild symbol in this game is the worker bee. Yes, as he gathers honey for you, going from flower to flower, you'll realize he is the most valuable on your board. He replaces all other symbols whenever he has a chance to form a winning combination. The combinations that include one or more worker bees will be two times bigger than your initial winnings.
The Scatter Symbol
The other valuable symbol in most slots is the scatter symbol, and this scatter is the hive. No place like home! regardless of the position on the board, it pays out and triggers free spins! I found this a great feature, as some boards often limit the winning combinations to a certain number of lines. This hive can also trigger free spins, but you need to get one or more worker bees on reels 1-4, and one hive on reel 5. If you do happen to trigger this, you'll win 15 free spins and during this, all the winnings will be doubled generously.
Conclusion
Overall, I thought this game was cute, and the wild symbol is pretty rewarding, and the scatters were fun
